"Being chosen as a Dolphin Scholar represents not only recognition of my academic achievements, but also acknowledgement of the unique journey I’ve embarked on as a military child. As someone pursuing a career working with children, it signifies not only financial support for my education, but also validation of my passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young people. This scholarship is more than just financial support; it’s a testament to the dedication and sacrifices my family and I have made in service to our country. With this opportunity, I am excited to make a meaningful impact, knowing that my hard work and dedication have been recognized and valued. I am deeply grateful for this honor and committed to honoring it through my higher education.”

Applications for the next round of Dolphin Scholarships will open on October 1. As many of you know, earning a Dolphin Scholarship is not an easy feat. All applicants have outstanding grades, community service, leadership skills, and a commitment to education. Last year, only 25% of applicants were awarded a scholarship
Your enthusiastic response last year awarded Nevaeh Wright the Haines Society Scholarship for her Psychology studies at Western Kentucky University.
AS DSF heads into its 64th year, we are inviting you and your fellow Dolphin Scholar Alumni to award another scholarship to an intelligent and motivated individual like yourself for this next scholar selection cycle.
The Haines Society Scholarship will be funded solely by 64 years of Dolphin Scholar Alumni who want to give back to the next generation of high achieving applicants. We are aiming to raise the funds for a full year scholarship - $4,000, so one more Dolphin Scholar can be selected to join your ranks.
Many hands make light work - we know that life is expensive, and your funds are pulled in many different directions. That is why we are asking you to partner with your fellow Dolphin Scholars - together YOU can give one more student the honor of being a Dolphin Scholar. With your help, we can make the cost burden of higher education a little bit lighter for someone now standing where you were, not that long ago.
