4th Annual “Moving Mountains” Fundraising Hike Will Take Place in the Swiss Alps
Lisa Simmons, BlazeSports Board Member and president of Beacon Management Services, will travel to the Alps in Switzerland, Italy and France for her 4th Annual “Moving Mountains” hike to benefit the BlazeSports programs.
The trip takes place August 17 – 24, 2022 and will culminate on the summit of Mont Blanc, Western Europe’s tallest mountain. The trek is especially compelling because of its technical climbing requirements in harsh weather conditions and on steep vertical ascents.
Prior fundraising hikes include Machu Picchu via the Inca Trail in Peru; Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa; and the Rim To Rim hike across the Grand Canyon. Lisa pays for her own trips and 100% of the money raised goes entirely to BlazeSports.
