Open House celebrating Midway Shelter - Jan. 2025

Building Futures invites key partners to a special celebration event in Alameda for the re-opening of our Midway Shelter after a major renovation. Guests will be invited to tour the shelter; there will be a brief spoken presentation. Join city leaders, key volunteers, and other partners to mark this very important milestone.

Start time: 3pm
Location: The Midway Shelter is a confidential location. The exact address and parking details will be sent to registered guests via email at least one week prior to the event. The event will end at 4:30pm.
*This event was originally planned for 12/2/24 but was rescheduled due to construction delays and the holiday season. If you registered for the 12/2 event, we kindly ask that you register again for 1/15 event, using the form below. The event was rescheduled on 11/20/24.
ABOUT MIDWAY: At the 25-bed Midway Shelter, Building Futures provides shelter, food, and support services to help women and children build better futures after homelessness. The Alameda Homeless Network (AHN) raises funds to keep Midway operating 24/7/365. Community support for Midway helps support new beginnings and life-changing services for women and children in Alameda.
